A relatively easy half day hike in the heart of Silverton's old mining operations
A small lake in the upper part of Little Giant Basin.
The east ridge of Little Giant Peak as seen from near the Little Giant - King Solomon saddle. Difficulties on the ridge crest are easily skirted on the left side.
The rocks on the final scramble to the summit were covered with rime ice which made for slightly slippery footing.
