A cold and windy pre-winter hike
Dominic, Kevin, Dwight & Adam climbing north out of the South Mosquito Creek drainage. Snowshoes were helpful down low, but we cached them once we reached the edge of wind scoured American Flats.

An old mining road allowed us to easily and safely go around Mosquito Peak on its west side instead of reclimbing it. This saved us several hundred feet of elevation gain on the way back.
