A long, remote hike with fun scrambling
An eerie circular rainbow appeared as we neared the top of Eagle Peak.

Looking back at Eagle Peak from the ridge to UN 13,100.
"Ribbed Peak", our final objective, as seen from the summit of UN 13,100. The mile long ridge between the two is rugged and reportedly technical. We traversed grassy ramps and slopes low on the right side of the ridge before scrambling up to the summit..
Dominic traversing grassy ledges along the south side of Ribbed Peak's west ridge. The ground cover is a nice fall red.
After traversing on the side of the ridge we picked a gully that looked as if it would take us near the summit and started scrambling up. For the most part the rock was nice, solid granite.
Dwight in the gully with Fairview Lake below.
The crux of the gully was a short 5th class bouldering problem to get past an overhanging chockstone. Fairview Lake can be seen in the background.
As we neared the summit the gully opened up and left us with a bit of routefinding up fairly steep but easy rock.
Dwight making his way up grassy ledges after topping out of the gully.
Dwight and Dominic scrambling up to the summit ridge.
To descend, we headed initially south from the summit and then followed gully systems all the way down to Fairview Lake.
